Excellent fish and chips with indoor seating. All staff aware of allergies and a separate fryer for gluten free, all at same price as the ordinary. Also gluten free gravy and vinegar. Dog friendly.

This was a great discovery as they fry the fish and chips seperately to the non halal food. We were not too hungry. My wife had the mini fish and chips and I had the small with curry sauce. The cod fish was in lovely crispy and light batter. The chips were delicious soft and tasty great. The curry sauce was of perfect consistency, vegetarian and also tasted great. The staff were friendly and happy to be of service, especially considering that it could not be easy working, as it was almost 30 degrees outside and probably much hotter inside.

Great fish with crispy thin batter. Nice chunky chips. Lovely service. We came in just as they were closing today and still got served. They are dog friendly as well. We really enjoyed our take away meal and would come back if in the area again.

This is a rare find! My son has a few food intolerances (dairy, soya, sesame oil) so finding anywhere to eat when we're away from home is difficult, often impossible. After being turned away from several chippies that cook all their food in same fryer I thought I'd try Tuckers who, I was pleased to find, are very aware of food intolerance and allergies and offer a good selection of food for those with restricted diets. The service was warm and friendly, the prices are very reasonable and the food was lovely. We ate indoors, as it raining outside, and found the seating area to be clean, dry and comfortable.

Gluten-free heaven 😋.. Staff are fully aware and knowledgeable about coeliac food intolerance, which was so reassuring for my partner, who is coeliac. I also prefer gluten-free batter, and this is the best. From the moment we walked in to leaving, it was a lovely experience. Fish was tasty and chips both plentiful and perfectly cooked. 5* for the food and staff.

My wife is celiac and this is the best place for gluten-free fish and chips. Always fresh and hot. All the condiments are gluten-free as well. We wouldn’t go anywhere else. The staff are lovely and friendly always with a smile on there faces. Nothing is to much trouble for them. I would definitely recommend anyone to come in and try you won’t be disappointed

Absolutely spectacular fish and chips - came in bang on opening and the staff were ready to serve. Possibly the nicest tasting chippy I’ve had - try the curry sauce, it’s awesome.
